  1. Drop shipping has always intrigued me, but I have never had the time to look further into it.

    Would you reckon this is a better route to go than affiliate marketing, or is it basically the same thing?

    Anything where you don’t need to keep and ship out stock is a great idea to me.

To answer your question, this article describes a form of affiliate marketing where there is a merchant and a promoter or an affiliate who is rewarded by the merchant for the affiliates marketing efforts. Phew, thats was almost a mouthful… So it’s a ‘no hassel’ if I can say that, way to get started as well as a cost effective way, as you are not holding unsold stock that you’ve paid for. You can also get started fairly quickly depending on how much effort you put into it,…and you have the right support to get your website up and running like the people at Wealthy Affiliate.   2. This way of making money is actually pretty simplistic, yet also very difficult from what it seems.

    I mean, on one hand, you really don’t have any control over your inventory, only on your prices – which is a huge limit.

    There’s also the fact that most products that you can dropship are fairly mundane, something which makes the competition vast.

    On the other hand, it’s very easy to get started and doesn’t require much direct involvement.

    Truth be told, I’m not sure what to do.

There is certainly enough of a product range to capture ones interest or niche and that’s the place to start I think especially if you are new to this type of marketing. So go with that in the first instance if you want to give it a crack. Your right, it’s easy to get started but be sure to get the right support from those who know what they are doing, it’ll save you a lot of time.

  3. Hi, Rina. Thanks for this wonderful post. I have been hearing the term dropshipping for some time now and was really wondering what the heck it was. More importantly, I had heard that you can make some decent money this way so I figured I would learn more about it and see if it was something I could see myself doing.

    After looking over the explanation that you give here, I think that this might be something I could do. I just need to decide on a specific niche and start building a website it looks like. Do you know anywhere I could go to build a website cheap and easy?
